The logo was printed on apparel for the members of X-Factor, who thought it was definitely "badass."

The owner also hired me to design this flyer for a promotional event regarding personal training at X-Factor.
Above are some of my original sketches for the logo. I wanted to keep it clean and relatively simple, and I was toying with the idea of negative space. My client really liked the eagle and barbell sketch, but he wanted a bit more detail.
I went to work on refining the client's favorite sketch, adding some more detail in the wings and tail of the eagle. He liked this level of detail and I was given the go-ahead to clean up and finalize this design digitally.

This was the result, and my client once again approved. The next task was to incorporate the new X-Factor logo into a design for a shirt.
I presented the client with a few sketches for his shirts. He really liked the circular one at the bottom of this page, so I moved forward with that design.

I really played up the all-American, militaristic feel of the logo with the bold stencil typeface and the addition of the stars. This design was deemed "badass" by the gym owner and was printed on X-Factor apparel.
